Data Deletion Instructions

How to request the deletion of all the data CodTrack holds about you, including data received from Meta through Facebook Login and WhatsApp Embedded Signup.

1. Data that is deleted

When you request deletion of your data, SMARK LEADERS LLC permanently deletes:

  • Your account, profile and your team's accounts
  • Your orders and your customers' data
  • Your WhatsApp messages (sent and received) and the media files stored in Cloudflare R2
  • Your WhatsApp contacts
  • Your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), phone number and Business Manager IDs
  • Meta access tokens (encrypted)
  • The Meta (Facebook) user IDs linked to your account

2. Option 1: request by email

  1. Send an email to contact@codtrack.com from the email address of your CodTrack account.
  2. Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
  3. Include your business name and, if you connected WhatsApp, the WhatsApp Business phone number concerned.
  4. We acknowledge your request within 3 business days. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
  5. We delete your data within 30 days and send you a confirmation email.

3. Option 2: remove CodTrack from your Meta account

You can revoke CodTrack's access to your account from Meta at any time:

  1. In Meta Business Suite / Business Manager, open Business Settings.
  2. Go to Accounts > WhatsApp Accounts, select your account, then open the Partners tab (or Integrations > Connected apps).
  3. Select CodTrack and click Remove.
  4. From a personal Facebook account: Settings & Privacy > Settings > Business Integrations, select CodTrack and click Remove.

Removing the app immediately cuts CodTrack's access to your WhatsApp Business account: we can no longer send or receive messages. To also erase the data already stored, send us an email request (Option 1).

4. Data we may keep

  • Invoices and accounting records, for as long as the law requires
  • Anonymous statistics that cannot identify you
  • Backups, which are erased automatically within 90 days

5. If you are a merchant's customer

If you exchanged WhatsApp messages with a business that uses CodTrack, that business is responsible for your data. Contact it directly to request deletion. You can also write to us at contact@codtrack.com with the business name and your phone number: we will forward your request to the business and help it respond.
